Tell Chase: No more business as usual.

Chase says it supports the Paris Agreement and a liveable climate, but we have the receipts that say otherwise. $269 billion in fossil fuel finance calling its bluff. Today, let Chase know that this is OUR bottom line: Put your money where your mouth is and defund climate change.

Sign the petition, tell Chase that actions speak louder than words, and we’ll send a postcard to its doorstep from YOU.

Dear Mr. Dimon,

According to the IPCC’s special report on 1.5°C, we have just ten years to halve emissions in order to stave off the worst effects of the climate crisis. Given this urgency, it is unacceptable that JPMorgan Chase is continuing to pour tens of billions of dollars into dirty fossil fuel projects and companies. Moreover, your continued support for companies building fossil fuel projects like the Line 3 and Keystone XL tar sands pipelines and the Coastal GasLink pipeline across Wet'suwet'en territory in British Columbia, frequently comes despite strong Indigenous and grassroots opposition.

Your bank remains the world’s biggest banker of fossil fuels, and as CEO we have a set of clear demands for you:

  • Close the loopholes in your restrictions on financing coal companies and fossil fuel infrastructure in the Arctic;
  • Stop financing tar sands extraction and pipelines;
  • Immediately end your funding for companies that are expanding fossil fuel extraction and transport;
  • Put in place a plan to phase out all support for fossil fuels on a timetable aligned with the Paris Agreement.

Kind regards,
