Tell Liberty Mutual to drop Trans Mountain!

If responsibility is Liberty’s policy, drop coverage for the Trans Mountain pipeline and ditch tar sands for good.

A few insurers have already dropped this project, but Liberty Mutual still hasn’t gotten the memo. Liberty will decide in the next few months whether they will keep covering this dirty project. Help us add 20,000 signatures to send this urgent message to drop Trans Mountain!

Liberty Mutual Executives,

I am writing to demand you stop underwriting Trans Mountain and all tar sands expansions. This week, communities in the Pacific Islands, Uganda, Sierra Leone, and all around the world have taken action to end the Trans Mountain pipeline insurance because of the impacts on the climate and Indigenous rights.  Under international human rights standards, Indigenous people must give free, prior, and informed consent for development on their lands.

The Trans Mountain and Line 3 pipelines are criminalizing water protectors, and are a disaster for human rights and for our shared climate. Stop fueling climate chaos and insuring human rights abuses. Drop insurance coverage of tar sands pipelines, Arctic drilling, and all fossil fuel expansion.
